Star Coin 3 - Mario and Luigi will need to Ground Pound some bricks to obtain this Star Coin.The player will need to avoid destroying it with the Mega Mushroom. Star Coin 2 - Found in the second pipe after the first star coin.Mario or Luigi will either have to jump off the blocks or be in Mega form to get this coin. Star Coin 1 - Found atop a ledge of blocks.Mario then reaches the pole after climbing Hard Blocks. After a pit, there are three bricks, one of which contains a coin, and a red Koopa Troopa. After the Warp Pipe, there is a Goomba, a green Koopa Troopa and four bricks, one of which has a coin. There is a Goomba before the Warp Pipe Mario exits if he had gone to the underground bonus room. There is another ? Block containing a single coin right after. The third Star Coin is under three bricks Mario has to ground pound them to get the Star Coin. After a pit, there is a ? Block containing a power-up.

If the pipe is not taken, Mario will arrive at an area with three bricks with coins in them and an Invisible Block top of the middle brick with a Star in it. After that, there is a Warp Pipe which leads to an underground room with bricks, coins, three Goombas, the second Star Coin, and a power-up. After that, there are some Koopa Troopas, a Goomba, many bricks, two of which contains coins and one of which contains a vine that leads to the sky with Red Coins, and three Invisible Blocks. After that, there are five bricks, one of which has a power-up and another has a coin, and the first Star Coin.

If Mario did not climb the vine, he need to jump over a pit and a Warp Pipe. Above the fifth brick has an Invisible Block which contains a vine which leads to an area with a brick with a 1-Up Mushroom and coins. After that, there are five bricks, three of which have coins in it, and a Goomba.

After the pit, there is a ? Block with a Mega Mushroom.

Mario then encounters a Goomba next to a pipe. The top one contains fourteen coins and a Super Mushroom and the one under it contains one coin. After the area, there is a brick with a coin. The level starts in an area with some ? Blocks, one of which has a power-up, and a Goomba.
